Hope it gets fixed sometime soon.
I was interested to hear about "the bug". I am also using Final Cut Express with Magic Bullet Looks on Lion 10.7.1 - and this same bug exists. I have an older Mac Book Pro running Snow Leopard with the same Final Cut Express + Magic Bullet Looks combo and have no issues. In Lion, I get the exact same bug you describe in FCE. You say it is specific to FCP-X?
I hope you guys get it sorted. Thanks for all the work you are doing...
