I'm making a malty pale ale, hopefully tasting like Bass ale. I prepared and cooked the wort this morning, and pitched the yeast at 12:20 PM. Eight hours later fermentation has begun as you can see. This will continue for another couple of days, and I'll be able to bottle in about a week. By around the end of October I'll be drinking it.
