This is the finished TV ad for La Editorial.
I'm really happy of the outcome. In this opportunity I had more time to work on the product, and that let me try some different things, pay more attention to some details and finally use some rudimentary character animation! :-)
This short was made using only free software: Inkscape and Gimp for the design and the preparation of the assets, and Blender for the 3D part, the animation, composition and final edition.
As usual, I used the excellent script "XCF Layers Suite" by Alex for the 2D part.
Another novelty was the usage of original music, specially composed and recorded for the commercial. The theme was created by my friend and great musician Negro Allasino. We used Ardour for recording and mixing.
The voice is Ricardo Posatti, one of the finest argentinian voiceover talents.
