Andrew Stunnell MP, Minister for Communities and Local Government, launches 'Grow Your Own - How local authorities can support social enterprise' on Thursday 3rd November, 2-3pm.
Andrew Stunnell visited Accession Social Enterprise to launch the Young Foundation / Department of Communities and Local Government report on Supporting Local Social Enterprise, Grow Your Own.
Accession is a newly-formed social enterprise which provides training, volunteering and employment opportunities for people with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and mental health conditions, funded through the European Social Fund. It's the result of a partnership between West London councils, led by Ealing Council and West London Mental Health NHS Trust, along with a growing number of other supporters.
The event was held at Cafe on the Hill, West London Mental Health NHS Trust, St Bernard's site, Uxbridge Road, UB1 3HW.
