Outstanding work! But wait, isn't that a WW2 fighter pilot imagining a 'Yankee Gal', singing a song recorded by Marilyn Monroe in the early 60s? Never mind. Extraordinary lighting, modelling, animation, editing and sound design. Tremendous!

The song you're taking issue with was orginally written in 1938 by Cole Porter and was popular both before and after the war... most notably at the time by Cary Grant and Alexis Smith in the film 'Night and Day'.

So the song actually is perfectly placed. :)

pretty much every aspect of the visual medium at its cinematic best.

breathtaking expression of a man's visceral romance with a machine. very alluring graphic style, and the touch of the flames is absolutely brilliant.

haha, we thought this over and over, but time decided for us: we had to get rid of it, no time to do it. We were supposed to illustrate the crash with a long shot of them two fusing together. there is an artwork of this shot on the website, it gives you an idea of what it could have been.

Anyway, I think it's stronger as it is now. Your imagination works better than our pixels.

Great short guyz! Like many, I love the visual look and the idea's originality. The commengt about TF2 is kind of funny too - I play the game every day.

Only thing is, I thought it was a tad too long. The storytelling could have been edited a bit faster at some point.

But great work and excellent French touch!

what a great animation. Towards end , inside ,I kept saying okay ,jump , jump . I guess that was the moment ,I had nomore feelings for the plane , and that broken propeller was screaming like a daisy, telling me he loves me not.
