The Scottish National Portrait Gallery will close to the public in April 2009 for two years. During this time the building itself will be restored, the amount of gallery space within will be significantly increased, and the way that the Collection is presented will be transformed.
This short film explains a little about what is happening and going to happen, in the words of staff, students and longtime visitors to the Portrait Gallery.
