    hi Herbert! thanks for your comment. I started and stopped the sculpture many times because other jobs came in. I started it in August I think but only worked for a day and then put it on the shelf. Jobs and holidays and other things... so it could be about 20 hours of work maybe? not sure. but glad you like it!

    Really, really inspiring. Are the pupils sculpted *and* painted or just painted? It was hard to tell from the video resolution.

    If you had to guess, how many hours would you say you put into it to get the the just-before-painting stage?

    Thanks SO much! The pupils are sculpted and painted. They are pretty small so they are not very obvious. Glad you liked the video! As for hours to get to the painting stage, maybe 15? So hard to say. I will make sure to time the whole thing next time... yes.... there will be a next time! :)
