This was shot on Sept 24, 2011 at the Top Rock City Toronto Workshop during Manifesto week. It was an honor to meet Legendary B-Boys Mr. Wiggles and YNot and hear first hand about the rise and fall and then the rise again of breaking. Mr. Wiggles also dissected each move and traced them back to the roots of the hood and dance crews of that era. He expanded on how each dance move evolved with the influence of the many cultures and regions of that time. This little lecture on history blew my mind. Honestly what an amazing workshop! What really made me want to do a video with these guys was to spread their message. They want to see the resurgence of the Breaking scene, to not just be about competition. Instead the main emphasis on community and simply having a good time in the name of dance and hip hop. This message really resonated with me and I wanted to create a platform for their message.
