So I have more clips lying around collecting dust of the pre-epic patch and pre-dawn days. Like my recent video of Froxer and I outside Fabernum which can be found here:
This next video is myself and 3 other Myrmidons battling many various Bakti warriors outside the small town of Bakti. It lasted quite a while, and I didn't do much in editing other than slapping the clips together and speeding up/slowing them down for the sake of time or minor cool effect for kills. I also decided to lay over some cool 80's jams, since these were the good old school days of Mortal, and it's so nice to reminisce on how fun it use to be. You will also see many times during the video where I'll switch out armor and stuff from loot bags. This is because most of Myrmidon during these days would run primarily on looted gear other than our weapons which we needed to craft for them to be reliable in combat. This is of course unless we looted an equally reliable weapon on the battlefield.
You'll also see how different stamina usage and management back then was. I miss the days where a player could dance around others, using reaction timing and reflexes to out maneuver his opponents for attacks, rather than the boring back pedaling holding down block thing we have now. I like the perfect block system, but I wish it could have been implemented with the speedy combat system we use to have, and slighly lower damages. Now it seems that combat has been nerfed to the point to where it favors the zergs, and not so much the individual who could make a difference on the battlefield.
It's a bit longer than my previous old school video, about 12 minutes, and I hope you enjoy.
