First group project for an animation basics class. Supposed to simulate one of the original animation styles revolutionized by Winsor McCay's GERTIE THE DINOSAUR.

    It's actually pretty easy, just super time consuming. You draw whatever you want on the dry erase board, take a picture, draw it again (only moved slightly) and take another picture. Repeat that over and over and you'll have your own little animation!

    Thank-you for unlocking a puzzle, In my head. I hope your classes are going well, your film, links the Arts of science and art, together in a workable cross fertilisation of curriculum's. I can imagine my students animation experiments, on white boards, with digital stills and video cameras. They would make great little films, but crucially also require an scientific process to work.....mint in the school I'm working with
