A county District Attorney in Kansas said he will again prosecute domestic violence cases after refusing to do so for weeks.
Shawnee County District Attorney Chad Taylor's hand was forced after Topeka repealed its domestic violence law because of budget problems, the Topeka Capital-Journal reported on Wednesday.
Taylor's reversal came less than 24 hours after the city council scapped Topeka's law against domestic violence in what turned out to be a successful effort to pressure his office to foot the bill for domestic violence and assault cases.
