A stop-frame animation created for The Guardian through YCN. The animation was part of a competition for The Guardian's Book Season, where the viewers had to guess which famous novels the opening lines come from for the chance to win a Kindle.
All the illustrations and type featured in the animation are hand-made by myself with assistance from Florrie Thomas. I then worked with animator Lee Gould and photographer Ryan Hopkinson to bring the illustrations to life.
