The gateway to the National Park is at St Arnaud about 1km before you get to the Lake, we took the Sea Eagle Paddle Ski with us to do a bit of Kayaking, on the video I have put a bit in on assembling the home made steering gear, they call the area we were in the Rotoiti Mainland Island, the project is to eliminate some of the introduced pests to let the bush regenerate, we noticed a big improvement in the bird song and the foliage, I took some video in the bush, and some from the Kayak to show it.
