  • Stephen Lewis plus 3 years ago
OMG I love this! What were the image size / intervalometer settings?
  • Sean Stiegemeier plus 2 years ago
Settings were kind of all over the place. The night shots were 30 sec exposures every 2 minutes. Day was every 15seconds for some. 30 and 45 for others.
  •

  • Nikio 3 years ago
Awesome! What was the camera? Could you tell us the trick to spin camera around its axis so smoothly?
    Thanks!
  • Sean Stiegemeier plus 2 years ago
Cameras were 5D, 5D Mark II, 1ds Mark II. Panning shots were just with a cheap telescope head. It worked ok, but some motion blur with the long exposures.
  •
  • Dmitry Kochetkov 3 years ago
It's just fantastic! I liked so much!!!
  •
  • MILapse 3 years ago
Excellent work! Nice use of HDR but a little trouble with the flicker (so hard to chase out of the process I know...) Please join us at timescapes.org!
  • Sean Stiegemeier plus 2 years ago
Yea the HDR stuff is a nightmare with the color and shading crap that it pulls on me. I think as long as the light doesnt change dramatically like at sunsets it works but otherwise it gets crazy.
  •
  • Frederic Vercammen plus 3 years ago
    phenomenal

Stunning, fantastic work!. The flicker is a problem though... there are a number of solutions for combating flicker in time lapse sequences.. Shake for one, or GBdeflicker plug-in for After Effects (Windows only).

Great work... can"t wait to see more!

  •
  • Oman Mirzaie plus 2 years ago
Nice job man, love it!! Just thought the hdr was a little overdone at times and would have been much more dramatic if you had of had some sky passing over shots of star trails etc. Anyway love it!
