35mm Adapter Test
First real test footage from my first real 35mm adapter. It needs a lot of work but I'm pretty pleased. Shooting with a Panasonic PV-GS500 through an achromat made from some Logetronic optics at a spinning CD focus screen ground by hand with toothpaste and some ultra fine sandpaper. The mount on the front is for the Olympus OM series and this was shot with a Zuiko 50mm f/3.5 macro.
The focus screen is a lot sharper than I would have thought, which is nice, although it would probably look like crap in HD. Its still a little transparent (some faint hot spotting) and the distance from the lens needs some fine tuning.
Another thing to note is that the camera is mounted a bit too high (hence the vignetting on the bottom).
Overall, needs work, but I'm hopeful.
