Loop stitches crochet

Fun and decorative! Make a loop edge, a loop scarf, a loop hat...
Work a row of chains to start.
Row 1: Work a row with sc in each chain.
Row 2: Work loops: work a sc in first sc. *In next sc make a loop by pulling the yarn a bit long on your left finger, stick hook through the stitch, pick up the yarn in the back loop, pull through stitch, now you have 2 sts on hook, get yarn and pull through both sts on hook*, repeat *-* until end of row, end with a sc in last st. Turn.
Row 3: Work a sc in each stitch.
Repeat row 2 and 3 for loops on one side of piece.
If you want loops on both sides repeat row 2 on every row.
