I wanna introduce you to my buddy eric... he made educational software animations called "animated listening maps" that included midi... being read by jsfl in flash, to draw stuff automatically on the stage, based on the notes. He animated classical music and stuff like techno fansatia with JSFL. The only thing in your video that could be better is if during the 2:20 sequence, he jumps on blocks that are spaced like the midi notes.
Excellent beat syncing! 3:38 is the best.
