The B-17G "Liberty Belle" visited Wichita Kansas on Memorial Day 2010. I saw the plane on one of its circuits around the area and was thrilled like any other baby boomer male.
This is why I always have my gear (or at least the basics) with me. I just blew onto the flight line like I belonged there and shot some great images.
I am glad I went to shoot this iconic airplane...she was lost in June, 2011 to an inflight fire.
