On February 11, 2009, as representatives for the Pulitzer, practicum student Claire Wolff, local artist Courtney Henson, and Web Communications Intern Amy Broadway journeyed to Jefferson City’s capitol building to meet with their legislators. It was Missouri Citizens for the Arts’ (MCA) “Citizens’ Day at the Legislature,” a day in which Missourians are encouraged by the MCA to join them at the capitol and talk to Congress about the importance of funding the arts.
