    Just the other week I was chatting with a local swordsmith (katanasmith?) here in Fukushima. He let me look at and hold some katana that he had made plus had other katana and daggers (短刀) made by various other swordsmiths displayed.

    At the time I thought to myself that it would make an excellent subject for a short documentary, then today I find this video up on Vimeo. So I guess it was a good idea!

    No way!! I did a college project with Watanabe Korehira while I was in Date on a college internship in 2003-2004! I interviewed him in the same room in his house and he even let me get on the forge and make my own tool under his instruction while I was there. What luck finding your video!! Thank you!!!
