In this personal and introspective exploration of inter-generational perceptions and relationships centred around the culture of death and grieving in an Irish catholic family, the film's director re-visits and re-creates his own painful and confusing memories of loss, while trying to understand and reconcile his rejection of the catholic traditions, that rule lives and deaths in his native Irish West coast town, and the need to re-connect with his loved ones and find a way to move forwards.
