Its a shame something so pretentious, ridiculous and cliche was filmed, edited and composed so beautifully.
  • Jye Sherwell 3 months ago
    Pretentious? How do you figure?
  • Blake P Landry plus 3 months ago
hum, yea very strange comment. I don't find this to be pretentious, ridiculous, or cliche. You must be a fellow bully...
  • Ray Wong 3 months ago
It's one thing to have an opinion about the subject matter and a separate opinion about the composition, but to simply claim that the combined effect is "shameful" is to speak upon pretense - ignorant and hardly objective.
  • Pablo Mateo Lobo plus 3 months ago
    He talking about the bullies.
  • Michael Glynn 3 months ago
My comment wasnt claiming it was shameful at all, you have me mistaken. I was saying it was a shame that such beautiful work was wasted on such a ridiculous subject.

My negativity toward this is that i feel someone who is capable of making such a beautiful looking piece shouldnt make the subject something as cliche and boring as teen bullying. It is an issue, i dont doubt that, but in terms of film i find it to be rather flat and somewhat of a cop out and to me it was very 'glee' and cheap.
  • Oliver Drambour 3 months ago
Do you know anything about teenage suicide?
  • Michael Glynn 3 months ago
I am a teenager, im all too aware. Dont be so ridiculous.
  • Ray Wong 3 months ago
Right, wasn't claiming that you thought the subject matter was shameful - I know you're probably not as heartless as that. However, it's basing judgment of the film on the combination of topic and execution. The way a film is composed, if it's composed well, it should highlight the topic and bring it to life.

To say that someone copped out is a pretty big accusation. Pretty much saying that this topic was chosen for no other reason than to gain audience sympathy - that the creators don't care about the topic of bullying other than to use it to make this film successful. Maybe that's true, maybe it's not, but to me it seemed like a good deal of personal care went into producing this film. Then again, I'm not a film buff and by no means do I have any experience in the film industry, so I could be wrong.

I just seems unfair when artists are put down for using their freedom to practice their craft and express their thoughts on whatever topics they choose. If it turns out that their composition didn't highlight the topic as well as maybe they hoped, then that's fine - they can draw on constructive criticism and get better. But if the work looks beautiful, then it is beautiful, and the film is a good one - the only problem then is the personal preference that the artist "should have" picked a different subject to work on. While that's a very valid opinion to have, it doesn't seem very objective when judging someone's work, as it's just a personal difference.

Very well done. I would like to mention that society has become so liberal and politically correct in my eyes. My father has always taught me to be a man and take it off my chin. Whether it is criticism or otherwise. I was bullied a few times in elementary school and while I agree that verbal resolution is always preferred, I always solved my bully problems with physical resolution. Something I think that has been taking out of our youth today. If I had a son who was being bullied at school and he got in to a fist fight. I would stand next to him with my hand on his shoulder telling him I was proud he stood up for himself.

    Dog bark at 1:35.

That's all Satan's got... a bark. He's all bark and no bite... if you resist him.

What this video does not tell you: Jesus protects those that are bullied. Pray to Jesus. The bullies will have to answer to Jesus. If you are a bully, repent!
  • blogjob 3 months ago
I think this video doesn't include Jesus, because praying to a imaginary higher power doesn't solve problems concerning bullying. God (or Allah, or Jahwe, or Baal, doesn't matter how you call it) can't give you practicable help with it.
  • Lorentz Force 3 months ago
Ironic. You are a bully against Jesus and those that love him.

What's up with your profile picture? Are you a zombie... or just preparing yourself to be one? You're in serious trouble if you are bashing the name of Jesus. He got bullied hard the first time he was here, being tortured and murdered on the cross. On his return, he will serve justice, and do away with bullies. Repent!

Jesus is real and he is coming back.
  • I think Jesus and all religions should be left out of this. It isn't the point of the video.
