Through the rapid progress of kite technology over recent years, whole new areas of sport have evolved. From ballet stunt kites, to high octane parakarting, kite surfing or kite ski-ing, competitions arise.

The Imandra Project is one of the most arduous and spectacular competitions on the kite calendar. A 100km race, out and return across the frozen Lake Imandra, within the Arctic Circle in the Murmansk Oblast Region of Russia.

We follow Graham Steel, a British parakarting champion and Jonny Pople an experienced kite skier as they drive to Monchegorsk to take on the challenge for a second time.

This film is about two adventurers, humble journey.
