This is a short documentary I directed capturing Shepard Fairey's creation of the interior piece titled "Peace, Freedom & Creativity," for the new City of West Hollywood Library.
The shoot took place over the course of two weeks. I filmed Shepard in his studio creating the foundation of the piece and on location installing it.
I used a myriad of cameras including: Canon 5D, Canon 7D, Canon XA10, GOPRO, Sony FS100.
Working with Shepard and his team is always a pleasure. A big thanks to them and the City of West Hollywood for enabling this project.
If you're in LA you should check out the new WEHO Library. Its more than just a library, its a cultural epicenter that weaves together elements of art, creativity and knowledge. It truly inspires a sense of community through intellect and enlightenment.
Much love to my amazing editor, Craig Wesieman as well as Jeff Lasson for bringing the music.
