I have an HF10 at home for shooting my home movies. I love the picture quality of the camera but am always complaining that the camera is rocking left and right. It's a horrible design. So I went to the office one day and built this Z-pistol out of existing Zacuto parts. I always loved the way a super-8 pistol grip felt and tried to re-create that feel. This is very easy to do steady movement, you can get high and low. Plus you can quick-release the pistol grip in one second and put it in your pocket if you don't want it for a shot. I use my HV30 for lots of quick and dirty stuff around the house when I don't want a big and heavy rig. This is a really quick and easy solution I must say. And the fact that it's versatile and expandable makes it ever better.

Although not for everyone, it's a great investment for anyone using these small Hard Drive or HDV based cameras!

that needs to be in walmart so that regular consumers not just video enthusiasts will have regular access to that product. because my mother and father and even grandmother who all have smaller harddrive and sd card style cams would love that because they don't care anything about a tripod but they would love to get steadier home video footage. great job zacuto i hope you'll take my advice and market that one a lil more you could make some real money with that! BTW i love you products keep up the great work!
