This was just a simple edit for me to evaluate FCP X. For cutting FCP X is pretty good. But for complex adjustments of multiple clips it leaves a lot to be desired. Simply being able to copy a single effect in a chain over to another clip is impossible.
If you have shot footage using the Technicolor picture profile for Canon DSLRs, FCP X is a major ball ache. You have absolutely no control over the gamma curve. You can't even apply an LUT, so you have to hard encode one using 5D2RGB, which kid of defeats the point of the profile in the first place.
