Thank you for joining us for the 95th Annual Alumni Convocation here at Howard University School of Divinity. Our theme this year is "Religion and Culture: Connecting the Church and Hip Hop." To inspire discourse on this topic, we invited the esteemed Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Dr. Joshua Wright and Dr. VaNatta Ford to participate in a panel discussion with HUSD students, faculty, staff and alumni. The panelists entertained questions and presented their positions in this invigorating exchange as we seek to go deeper and deeper in our understanding of the role of the church within the larger community.
