"Fello" is Andi Otto's instrument between Cello and Computer.
It translates the bow movements into data to interact with audio software. Now, after an artistic residency at Villa Kamogawa in Kyoto, the "Fello" System can also play with visuals. Here is a short recording of the first step in the studio in Kyoto.
The Bow Sensors are mapped to sound and visual with STEIM's junXion software.
The visual processing is done with edits of the Max4Live "Vizzable" Tools.
