On October 2, 2011, Ramallah-based Palestinian rapper and producer Boikutt traveled to Lebanon to perform for the first time in Shatila refugee camp. Shatila houses thousands of Palestinian refugees whose families fled from their homes during Israel's creation in 1948. Shatila is one of twelve densely-populated camps in Lebanon which house over 200,000 Palestinian refugees, many of whom were born and raised in the camps.
