We are a sculptor (Friesen) and an assemblage artist (Katz) who enjoy collaborative work. This project was an experiment in sequential collaboration, in which we matched wits at many levels. All pieces involved a box of some sort. Each piece was initiated by one artist, then passed to the other, who finished the piece as (s)he chose.
