    WOO HOO!

    Now please, please please... give us the ability to choose which icon we to show at the top of the stack?

    Keep up the great work.

    Thought I wanted to throw of some suggestions, if that's OK.

    SUGGESTION 1 - STACK WITH 3 OTHER ITEMS
    The stack pushes away other items just like any other item does in the dock. Let's say the stack is positioned on the right side with 3 other items on the left side, and you move the stack to the other side, the three other items would move from the left side to the right side. The stack is behaving like a regular item also means it isn't possible for an item to get behind the stack. What I do to temporarily avoid this is to place a blank icon behind, and that also makes it possible to have three instead of only two items with the stack actually. ;) BTW, isn't that how to solve this whole issue, to stick the stack to a blank icon? Then the blank icon would do the rest of "the programming"?

    SUGGESTION 2 - STACK WITH 2 OTHER ITEMS
    I like the fact when the stack is on right/left side, it's always completely next to the edge of the dock, but when there are only two other items together with the stack, I think it would better if the first item next to the stack is positioned at the center of the dock, meaning the item at the center would be half a space from the stack and the second item half a space from the edge of the dock...

    ...like shown in this example:

    * = Stack
    - = Other items
    . = Half a space
    _ = Normal space

    .--.*
    OR
    *.--.

    (This can be recreated with the two items and one blank icon, then you get this.)

    INSTEAD OF

    _--*
    OR
    *--_

    When moving the stack from right side to left side and opposite, the two items would still move a normal space to both sides. The only difference is the items are off-positioned be half a space from the stack, as shown in the first example.

    STACK WITH 1 OTHER ITEM
    (This is what Stack already is doing.)
    However the positioning of the stack the item at the center is unaffected by that.

    BONUS SUGGESTION - SUPPORT FIVE ICON DOCK
    Similar to suggestion 1 except the stack would be somewhat closer to the edge of the dock to make space for all the four items.

    SUGGESTION 4
    Option to turn ON/OFF when moving items to the stack they are automatically hidden from where they came from, if one doesn't like duplicates. So now you would have to actually release the item you want to put in.

    SUGGESTION 5
    When stack is opened being able to rearrange items in it by dragging. To actually remove items now you would have to literally move them out of the stack (left/right), or maybe better like you already are able to do with items in springboard (holding), because this would also work with grid. Anyway when items are removed from stock they appear back on the springboard, of course.

    INTELLIGENT INSTALLATION SUGGESTION
    Remove an item from the dock if it's filled up (the fifth if Five Icon Dock is installed).

    OTHER SUGGESTIONS
    * When turning back to springboard from lockscreen the stack should be closed even if it was open before lockscreen.

    * Option to turn ON/OFF springboard dim when stack is opened (this is how some earlier version of Stack was I guess).

    * Sort by name: Fan - A (bottom) to Z (top), grid - A (top) to Z (bottom) / sort by last opened (then what you use most would end up being easier to find) / no sorting.

    * Name on left (right) side of the icons just like in Leopard, since there IS space for that with fan (ON/OFF).

    * Since it isn't possible to drag files directly out of directories and into stack (if you're using Directories), I think it would be an idea to have some sort of application list inside Settings -> Stack where you decide which applications to be in the stack.

    These are all suggestions, and I'm aware of that, but I like to be engaged in stuff like this. So I'm not saying this has to be done, but I would like to see some of these suggestions implemented in some future version though. ;)
