Im Rauschen is an experimental animation I produced for my Design Diploma at the university of applied sciences Mainz in 2006. It is based on several insights concerning human perception and chaotic systems. The sound effects of the animations first part was entirely made with acoustic instruments. Many parameters like the melody of the music, amount of frames between cuts, screen ratio, size of buildings etc. is based on the Fibonacci number series. The animation was made with After Effects and Maya with dedicated help of my friend Christian Dupont. More information (in German) you can find on imrauschen.de
