Semley in Wiltshire: Filmed over the 8th & 9th February 2009 in the last days of the snow that fell country wide over the UK. Family sledging fun celebrating my sons 7th birthday with his cousins.
Filmed with the Canon 5D Mrk2 using a very fast shutter and a 50mm 1.4 lens at f2.0. Fixed aperture maintained using drilled lens plate to allow body pin to lock. First half filmed using the stock lens 24-105 also unlocked.
Out of sync technique used for cutting, balanced with fast shutter speeds and lots of misplaced focus. "Honest It was meant to be that way". Mostly due to the fact that my fingers were frozen. Hey but It's just for fun.
Edited in 'Final Cut Pro' - Colour styled in 'Apple Color' - Encoded for Vimeo in 'Apple Compressor'. Initial cut edited using half size AIC proxy style files on the Macbook transfered and finalized on the big mac.
Enjoy, James
