--------------------------------------------------

This is the first prototype of my Xyloduino. My aim is to end up with an 8 hammer, arduino controlled xylophone/glockenspiel playing machine that I can play via midi from a step sequencer, or DAW - in my case Ableton, using a Max/MSP patch.

So far I have a 30 line chunk of probably very inefficient arduino code, being fired by an even more inefficient bunch of Max code.

Immediate Issues I'm observing:

- where do I get 5v'ish for all 8 servos (potentially all playing at once). Currently the two are puling power from the arduino, but clearly that won't work.

- Getting max to listen to midi for the "notes".

- making lots more of the hammer modules and making them plugable with the mother control.

Any questions, please ask, I'll add a blog post with some code and diagrams as soon as possible.
