73. (2001) Walking around a flea market in Germany

Starting to dig up some old tapes.

Which in a way is sad because a lot of the footage I'm starting to watch (much of it for the first time) was shot when the TRV900's heads were starting fail.

Sometimes the sound and picture is great, in sync, and other times audio skips or completely drops out. It also doesn't help that a lot of it was shot on the cheapest tape I could find, which depending on who you ask, doesn't matter one bit.

Sure. But hell, every last bit of archiving trick won't hurt right? It doesn't matter. The tapes were recorded onto using a dying camera. That's the point.

What I'm going to attempt is to piece together footage that shot between September 2001 and December 2002 and hope that I don't go into a depression of some kind.

I can't remember exactly where in Germany this was. Now that I think of it the accompanying Flickr images on the side are photos from 2 different flea markets. One was in Berlin, kinda near where parts of the wall is still standing and the other I remember having to ride the train south for a ways.

And yes that is an LC-A he was using! Could you tell from the sound of the click?

dont zoom with a fisheye, turn steady shot off, thats why the fisheye circle is shaking

actually the shaky vignetting doesn't bug me. The rubber lens hood on the wide-angle was pushed out further due to the Black Pro-mist filter. I really shouldn't have had that many layers of stuff after the TRV's lens.

It went like this: camera, 52 to 49mm step-down ring, wide-angle lens, 67mm pro-mist, lens hood. It had way to much stuff on there. If it didn't stick out so much the shakiness wouldn't have been so noticeable or if I just zoomed in till the ring was out of the frame.

Hah! or I could just take the stupid lens hood off. It was totally pointless. All it did for that camera was make it look cool.
