I had the privilege of traveling to Israel to run second camera on the final trip (there were 3 total) for this project, then editing the final movie & this trailer. The only thing more amazing than the trip itself was getting to spend a week with one of my heroes, Tom Curren, who turned out to be a really funny guy to hang with.

Told through the friendship between an Israeli Jew and an American Gentile, Promised Land sheds some light on the little-known Israeli surf community, and proposes a spiritual answer to the region's unrest rather than a political one.

Todd Morehead Directed the movie for Walking On Water, and Russell Brownley was the DOP. Russ & I also Co-directed.
