A relatively short introduction to the world of relief printmaking, woodcuts, and linocuts. Narrated and shot by myself - Thomas Shahan.
Shot on a Pentax K-x body with a vintage SMC 50mm f/1.7, Takumar 28mm f/2.8, and a 18-55mm kit lens. Edited and color graded (some shots) in Adobe After Effects - utilizing Warp Stabilizer to remedy a bit of the rolling shutter artifacts. Some of the beginning shots have been digitally slowed using Twixtor.
And finally, it was all composited together in Premiere.
