This is a work in progress turnaround of a diorama I have started working on with two friends, Dieter Meyer and Mike Jagodzinski. The tank and characters have been modelled and textured by Dieter in Modo. I have added procedural shaders in houdini to the tank to add dirt and damage.
Mike has made the assault rifle and the wood holding up the barbed wire. He also modelled the curves for the barbed wire which were turned in to procedural barbed wire by me.
The environment, lighting, compositing and smoke were done by myself, basic modelling in modo, the rest in Houdini. As with the gorilla, a lot of the textures are procedural as well as the placement of a large part of the rubble.
