For many, the high point of Artichoke's Lumiere festival of light and art in Durham this year, as when it was first held in 2009, was "Crown of Light", a son et lumiere show with surround sound and projections featuring the Lindisfarne Gospels on the front walls of the Cathedral itself.
This video is hand-held and scratchy – a small camera with its sensitivity turned up – but hopefully you'll get the idea - and hopefully support the idea of a third Lumiere festival in 2013.
There are two extracts, one from near the beginning and the other from the end of the show. The first part is 16:9 and the second pillarboxed 4:3
"Crown of Light" was created by Ross Ashton, Robert Ziegler, and John Del' Nero.
