Christine Fail is an artist and designer living in Austin, TX. She has an unhinged passion for creating anything and everything. And after being laid off from her nine to five job she was forced into creating a new lifestyle. Christine now owns Schatzelein in Austin and designs her own line of jewelry entitled 'fail'.

Christine employs classic metalsmithing technique such as hand forging to form and shape delicate wire. Forging gives wire strength, resiliency, and a soft organic texture that allows the hand of the artist to be present in each piece.
