Written and filmed by five young people who are part of the SPW Youth Talents group – a group of young performing artists set up by the organisation SPW Tanzania.
The film is a series of seven ‘vichekesho’ - or short comedy sketches – which all provide insight into Tanzanian culture. Two young men compete for the affections of a woman, whilst being almost oblivious to each other; a boy from the village has his first encounter with a telephone; and a woman tries to hide her recently cooked meal from her opportunistic in-laws.
