    very nice and creative. i've used a wacom for many, many years, you will wonder how you got along with out it!
    may i ask you, where would i learn to edit my videos in Photoshop (i use CS4). Thanks for any advice.

    Actually this video was made with photoshop CS2, so I'm not really familiar with the video features they put in the CS3 & 4 versions. I used photoshop for the drawing and coloring, everything else was done in After Effects CS3.

    9X12 I started with the 4X6 for about 2 years then I was like..wow..I can't do shit with this. For a while I thought my board was bigger than 9X12 because it's so massive. It takes up my entire desk in its 16X25 glory.

    How exactly did you take drawn stills from PS and make an animation in AE? You didn't hard draw each frame...is wasn't some kind of fancy masking, did you use AE's stupid puppet tool? Please enlighten me.

    First, I drew the frames in photoshop with a wacom tablet.
    Second, I exported the layers to files.
    Third, I imported the layers as an image sequence in After Effects.

    just a simple old school animation, no trickery involved.

    I read that you drew whole frames.How many frames did it take?It's a short but fluent animation.

    Thanks! It took about 200 frames. Since I did it in photoshop with a tablet I only had to redraw the parts that move, so it's not as labor intensive as actually drawing 200 frames would be.
