See all Show me
Recently my father started digitalizing his *entire* collection of normal8 films, mostly family memories.
I was struck when I saw the first 2 dvds of stuff, realizing I don't remember all of this.

So I decided to take some pieces and edit them.
This is the first attempt.
I do not have memory of this moment and I was stunned when I saw it.
The child in the sunflowers field is me, age 6; she is my mum.
Filmed in 1972; edited in 2007.

(oh, and yes: I was cool then! he he he)

I was the first one stunned by this idea my father had... I really thought I'd never see those films again. but it seems like he intends to keep the flow steady heheh

yep, i think that movement is one of the best i've seen in his films until now... :D
i must admit i have some diffuculties in appreciating digital, just because, to my eye, it's *cold*. i was born in time to be raised with analogue noise, you see...

that must have been pretty strange, to edit footage in which you appear more than thirty years ago....

strage, but amazing at the same time, i would say.
