It's always a risk.

An important part of making this video was meeting the people who lived across the way from John and Spencer. It was very gracious of them to let us extend a 40 foot board from their apartment.

Looking back, this video is one of my first narrativized spaces. The path structures the story. "Time is Long," "The Night Walk" and "Release Yourself Onto the Water Until it Tastes of Salt" may have in some way had their start here.

I made this in Berkeley, CA in 2006 with Spencer Owen, John Acquadro, Brad Presentati, Libby Hendon, Todd Banhazl and the friendly strangers across the way.
