I shot this for the "Make it interesting" project here on vimeo. It was a lot of fun. I just took out one of my daggers and stuck it to a tree and started filming.
One of the things that really impresses me is that for smaller objects the Hv30 can gets some nice shallow depth of field. And the manual focus nub works pretty good once you figure how to use it properly.
This was shot entirely with no attachments. Just locked the exposure and shot in good lighting and it looks pretty freaking good.
Shot with an Hv30 (no attachments), TV mode, shutter speed 250, 24p. locked exposure. Shot around 3 to 3:30 p.m. Edited with Final Cut Pro, graded with Colorista.
