I am always Brit and Brent. Also, I have huge saying-my-own-name-for-the-first-time-to-someone anxiety. I get so stressed out because, and this is weird, I mess up my own name sometimes. Either that, or im afraid that the other person wont hear me correctly.

I haven't had a problem with my name, which is David, (well, Obar did call me Stephen) except when I include my last name, Markusen....then I'm always being called "Mark Davidson"

For whatever reason, when I say, "Pam," people hear "Kim." When I say, "Pamela," they hear, "Tamella," which is about as common as L'Daniel.

When I say "I'm Missy Stevens" I've had several people think I said, "Mrs. Stevens" which I think is very funny. Most of the time I just say Missy or pause between the first and last name.
