i love the parts when you're in the corner of the frame and its like we're looking out the window with you.

  • annatruus 2 years ago

  • DistantDragon! 2 years ago
I do to but it was the shorter version not the long one that you have.

I like 1:17 when the focus is soft and 1:40. Reminds me of staring out the window of the car on a roadtrip when I was a kid watching the rain trail across the glass.

incredible. how did you turn the images into video?
  •
  • Dr. Tae plus 2 years ago
It feels like a cross between the train scenes in "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" and the video for "Star Guitar", but that's probably because I've been watching too much Michel Gondry stuff lately.

Wow! This is awsome. Watching through it, I never realised it was done using still photographs, I just thought it was video speeded up... must have taken you ages. p.s. Try not to get lost in that graveyard... it goes on forever.

Nice video. I remember hunting down that song after I heard it in an Adidas(?) commercial I think.
The compression to Flash is pretty brutal on "photomotion" projects like this. To compress the image, it only records a pixel's change from one frame to the next. In the case of photomotion, everything is changing as the next frame is a completely new image every time.

The Best part for me was the tunnels @ 1:01. Syncing so beautifully with the music at that moment.

How you create the 0:57 link in your description? I'd love to be able to do that with some longer pieces where peopel need to acesss scenes quickly without having to run through it all.

    Keep it up!

A really haunting effect, for some reason, when you mix that particular song with this video. I liked it a lot.
