How to encode volatile matter? When matter starts evaporating, is there still a way to keep it and translate it to a code / protocol? Our exercise in this course consisted in questioning this issue, using as an inspiration the most minute scale of architecture - a dress. The closeness of the dress to the human body and the behavior allowed us to put the code in relation to human scale, trying always to satisfy a human protocol.
Our final exercise remains in an undefined territory between a dress and an atmosphere, both volatile but also body conscious, light yet affected by the force of gravity, The mediation between the body and the atmosphere is here extended through a thick layer of continuous moving particles that translate depending on the requirements of the human behaviors. It is difficult to determine where the dress, the skin and the air come together.
