This project explores the fluidity of movement and seeks to organise it in a constructed space.
The process, followed here, is generated by two forces (gravity and centripetal force) which are
applied to agents by attractors. Agents are activated by attractors and during their course, leave a trail behind for us, so as to recognise the nature of that course. As the process develops we get a variety of results according to different settings and values applied.
From this ongoing process we chose to model a moment which presents high balance between its different dynamics.
We converted a set of trails from simple curves into meshes in order to generate geometry out of movement mapping.
The next step was to orientate this geometry, set it on site and apply material properties to it in order to test it statically. This procedure informed the design on a new level which had to be closer to construction but preserve the essence of the diagramatic form.
