This video shows a standard RepRap machine being driven by the new microlayering software. This software allows a different smaller layer height to be used for outlines than is used for infill. Thus parts can be built with a much finer surface finish with imperceptible staircasing and perfect vertical faces, with almost no increase in print time over full-layer-height methods.
